About Me
I'm a User Experience Designer and software developer with 23+ years of experience in the
industry. During that time, I've led several development teams, designed a lot of widely used software,
mentored junior designers and developers, implemented software processes, and run SCRUM teams,
all while advocating passionately for users. My goal on any team is to be the person that people
can go to for answers.
When I'm not doing design or writing code, you can often find me tinkering with one of my
telescopes and taking astrophotos, scratching on fossils, doing photography, reading, or cooking
food that my cardiologist assures me I should not eat, and reading. I've been told that I have an excellent
sense of humor which makes the fact that I'm writing a book about my crazy life all the more interesting
(much to my wife's chagrin).
Currently, I live in in the San Francisco Bay Area with my
ridiculously understanding wife Rina and our sons Kyle and Henry.
